Jungle Cat

Jungle cat is a vibrant mixed media painting using directional marks and complimentary colours to almost trick the eye. From a distance the colours appear to be those you'd associate with a jungle cat but on closer viewing you'll see a miriad ofcolours creating the optical illusion. This oil painting is on stretched canvas, measuring 40cm x 50cm. It is finished with gold leaf detailing and oil pastels. The painting was a study/ exercise and so is valued at a lesser price than usual for paintings of this size by the artist.
