Water gives us life and affects how we live it. Our coast helps to define country, culture, shared and individual values. It's forever moving and yet one of our biggest constants.
How do you feel when you head down to the water's edge?
Artists Angela Wilson and Claire O'Shea live by the Irish coast and know that a love of the water is something many of us have in common.
The water affects how the artists perceive themselves and how they in turn consider the world. Angela and Claire have never visited the coast without coming away feeling better than when they arrived.
The artworks in this exhibition are dedicated to how the coast inspires, energises and sometimes mystifies but never fails to show the artists a brighter side of life.
