"The mind is like water. When it's turbulent, it's difficult to see. When it's calm, everything becomes clear." 
This is Claires' largest abstract to date, here she uses a more subtle paired back palette than you might be used to seeing with her work. Although she is still using energetic marks and brush strokes, it has a more peaceful feel. The journey to up-scaling her abstracts has been a long one with her working on paper and small canvases for a year before feeling ready to tackle a larger format. 
Mixed media with inks, charcoal, acrylics and oils.  The canvas Measures 100cm x 80cm. The frame is included and measures 108cm x 88cm.
